Interesting - one of my newer refills had no tape at all, but the old method where the filament is bent at an angle… That’s probably the most reliable way to release the filament

So it seems the best options are to either migrate from BL filament or install a cutter to prevent the issue. I didn’t buy into the AMS system to babysit it.
