I have a small scale here that I could use to weigh my filament spools. It would be great if the filament manager could also record the gross weight of a new spool — and then, for updates, I would only need to enter the current total weight of the spool.
That would be really practical for quickly updating current levels, even if, for example, you’ve lent out a spool.
At the moment, I would have to remember the tare weight for each empty spool individually and subtract it accordingly — which is really something a filament manager should handle.
