Textured build plate and nylon

I have an H2D with the standard textured build plate. I have searched and can not really find it, is it safe to print nylon filaments on this build plate with a glue stick? Bambu Site says I can with a glue stick. However, on the plate it self it only says PLA, PETG and ABS.

I have a job I need to print and was checking to see if I needed to purchase and engineering plate or not.

Yes you can print nylon on PEI but the adhesion will not be the best. The new engineering plate or BIQU Glacier plates are the best for nylons.

Yup you are perfectly fine to print with Nylon on the textured build plate. From my experience, you will definitely need the glue stick.

Bambu’s plate recommendations on their site are pretty spot on, so you are safe to follow their recommendations.

With or without glue and which?

My nylon prints fail to adhere to PEI plate with dimafix or Nano Polymer.

A smooth plate will work better with nano polymer. Both Glacier and Engineering plates work great for me.
