I’m probably just dumb, but what here is specifically outstanding?
the pla is showing as partially loaded, the little white section clearly showing it up to the split with a tiny gap. now if there was a device there to tell it it was at the intersection.
One of the “small” issues with the HTC is over retraction of the filament meaning it takes longer to get all the way back to the hot end. when really it doesn’t need to it just needs to clear the section after the intersection. Now weirdly shown in bbs, it looks very deliberate

And here I was thinking you had multiple humidity levels for your 1 x ams and that was the point haha.
May I ask if you have more than one AMS HT connected?
That would make sense of that UI.
If not, the UI is poorly laid out.
Adding a percentage next to the humidity implies they are directly related. The 23% and 17% show appropriate levels of blue in the water droplets (which I recently learned are never that shape in nature).
The amount of filament remaining on the spool has always been shown as a level of colour within the rectangle showing its colour. Not always helpful when low as it can be hard to see muted colours.
A percentage bar in the right if the rectangle would be better for remaining filaments.

Can you highlight on your image which part you are referring to as there are so many parts of interest and many showing white from that comment.
I appreciate that, I never saw that and my eyesight through my onky single 75% working eye still took a bit when highlighted.
That looks more like an unexpected artefact.
Does it move location?
If it is meant to indicate something, it should serve as an indicator that can be seen.
im not sure its ever shown like that, my point being maybe they have something in the works that would allow it to be correct, eg the filament is partially loaded, maybe it already is some how even with just a v2 splitter for the h2c but no idea how they would work that out. the very obvious white section showing clearly its not retracted all the way.
My hope is its something to come where it can keep the filament loaded most of the way up to the intersection shortening the switching time that the other methods have an advantage over the time it takes to switch filament with a tool changer over a nozzle changer. As I own a H2C its interesting to see and maybe even for H2D owners

If they alter the UI to indicate that feature, it must be visually suitable to serve as an actual indicator.
Those couple of pixels do not serve that or any other function.
Interesting for sure, i think the idea of not pulling it back 100% was talked about a few times but most came to the conclusion it was a bad idea and only workable with a new ams construction. But this might be a hint the people at bambu have found a way to make it work in a stable way if so that would be a nice way to speed things up. Good catch… but could also be just a mistake in some software ![]()
At the moment there are no sensors in place to determine the locations of the splitters and therefore how much the AMS could feed to end up just before that location.
Only a manual input would be possible here.
To me the observation is either a glitch, or just a different way of presenting the loading state of the filament. Might just be a bug also.
Unless the OP can confirm the preloaded state of the different filaments.
I think you can prove this out by changing the colour of the filament. if you change PLA to white or something it will show if its genuinely going to “no mans land”
If I remember correctly, Bambulab mentioned a device some time ago that might be released in the future and could be inserted into the filament path. This device would allow multiple connected AMS to supply filament to BOTH print heads of a H2D (and H2C, I guess).
Perhaps this observation is related to that.
Yes they have hinted at a router for this and maybe they can add something in that design to make this work since they now know many people might like to see some speedup of the vortek system. But who knows i am kind of over the speed thing myself for now just printing day in and out ![]()
I’m pretty sure we might see a hub or replacement of the 4-in-1 with a sensor. Turns H2C works like A1 system. This will speed up the Vortex system.
There are two ports behind the H2 printers.
The image reminds me of past GUI display bug’s.
There were a few more at the location your pic shows. Just a bit larger. They did not always merit their own threads though and take more effort to find.
For my H2C using Studio in non-dark mode, I have a minor line shift display bug for the left nozzle exactly at that location.
