The H2S keeps retracting AMS when no color change is needed

I got my H2S about a week ago and noticed that on most prints, the printer retracts the filament back into the AMS and then loads it again, even when no color change is needed. When it does this, I get a motor overload error. I have to tap ‘Fixed’ in the app and then it continues printing. My PTFE tubes are good, and both the printer and AMS 2 Pro are running the latest firmware.
The only thing I’m unsure about is whether the issue might be caused by using a cardboard spool with printed tires/wheels.

Update I just noticed in with a bambu spool.

Hmm, maybe it could be a problem with your bambu studio settings?

Maybe. I have noticed it with different prints. As well as sending a print from my phone. If I take the same file and print it on my P1S I dont have the same issue.

…maybe it’s the ams problem…

I have 4 AMS 2 pros and it happens on all them. But I have not tested my AMS HT’s so

…And this happens to your official bambu lab spools as well?

Correct. I just loaded one AMS with it and it happened.

Well…I am a beginner and i don’t know well about this kind of problems
How about contacting bambu support?

Why is the printer retracts the filament back into the AMS and then loads it again when there is not color change LOL. I fell like since the H2S is so new maybe it needs a new firmware. I will contact bambu in a bit after I see if any H2S owners have my issue. So I can link them to this forum.

…maybe some kind of firmware error?

How about reset your printer settings and do it again?

I like your name BTW LOL. Ya I did that. Sorry did not put that in the main disc

Oh thanks
BTW what build plate do you have or use?

Its the stock one that comes with the printer.

I’m about to order the h2s (that’s to the name btw) soon and i want to know what kind of build plate that comes in stock ples

GL getting one they are on backorder for like 2 months. LOL I love this printer and its HUGE. The build vol from a p1s is insane!

…and it have this weird error that retracts fillament everytime?

Wait…hold on, i think I’m up to something…

Not every time. Its random. I noticed more when printing flat objects over like 3d items.

Flat objects? Ca you be bit more specific ples?
