Hello,
This is my first time here and I would like some advice.
I have an X1Carbon. But this is more about the slicer.
How can I remove an infill wall (yellow)?
The printed part then does not have a smooth wall. It would be better if there was a hole.
Or it could be like this:
how can I achieve that?
Or can I influence the amount of filament to be lower regarding the yellow line?
Thank you
If you use arachne wall generator, with low % on wall widths, the solver might be able to make the angle in your last screenshot.
You can just set walls to 1 and infill 0, and it definitely won’t try to print those. You can do this for the entire object, or use a Modifier Cube/Cylinder to only put those settings on a specific area.
The first change did nothing.
The second option changed it to an internal solid infill (purple), but it stayed there.
Depending on your top/bottom shells setting, you may need to adjust “Ensure vertical shell thickness” to none, to get it to stop filling in the area.
And just to preempt the next problem (lol attach the 3mf if you want exact feedback) you might need to change Apply Gap Infill to none.
