The softest Bambu TPU is here!

TPU 85A definitely needs to be made available in black for gaskets etc.

does this work with a1 minis too?

If you scroll down to the Printer Compatibility section of this link, you will see the A series does not support the 85A variant of TPU, but you can use the 90A TPU using the external spool holder.

You must read the documentation fully before attempting any models as the material is much harder to print successfully.

I print 85A on my A1 all the time and it works totally fine. I’m not really sure why it’d be considered incompatible.

I was using the information provided by Bambu Lab.

As you can see, I said this in my response.

Printer Compatibility

TPU 85A TPU 90A Multi-material printing with PLA / PETG
H2D Compatible (right filament inlet only) Compatible (right filament inlet only) TPU 90A Only
X Series / P Series Compatible Compatible Not Supported
A Series Not Compatible Compatible Not Supported

It is BL that informs people that TPU 85A is not compatible with the A series.

Something you should take up with them.

The fact that you have achieved it is one thing, but what they are likely saying is that it is not reliable for most people. Any damage caused would void the warranty, as they have stated it should not be used.

I’m not arguing with you my dude; I was wondering out loud and expressing my curiosity. If you took my reply as anything else then that’s on you.

I realised that.

And that.

I didn’t.

It would have been.

I mostly wrote my reply to you as a cautionary tale to those who may try and break something, not to the person who succeeded and didn’t break anything.

Man sounds like somebody has the case of the mondays.

Thanks anyway.

i have been lurking for a year now but watching you bully a random user for something YOU misunderstood so perfectly encapsulates everything that’s wrong with the 3d printing community that i had to make an account just to ask whether or not you were raised in a barn.

even when informed you proceeded to double down and act like it’s that user’s fault for the high crime of asking a question.

No such thing, I didn’t have an issue with you then or now.

I am not sure how you can read anything into me providing the official information.

Facts say otherwise.

A year is the same as 28 minutes now is it?

It sounds like this account was created solely to spread lies by a liar who can’t tell the difference between years and minutes.

The very definition of trolling people.

Which user and where?

If you are going to make such outlandish claims, you might as well back them up.

The ā€œwere you born in a barnā€ idiom is interesting when you start off pretending you are a member of the forum, yet only just joined.

I am one of the most helpful people here, as borne out by the public statistics.

Do I like bullies, no, do I like liars, no, do I like trolls, no, do I go after them, yes.

If I make a mistake, I apologise.

The fact that you may have seen me correct others or ask them to stop attacking others isn’t me bullying someone, it is me asking for that person to be a better forum member.

You may have more than one account here, you may be one of the accounts designed to try and bring me down that the moderators have chosen to ignore.

The last time someone tried and failed to suggest my help was wrong and dangerous was then proven wrong by the OP They were called out by someone else and still refused to accept they were wrong to call out my correct advice.

You may have an agenda, but so do I; it is to help people here while trying to get actual bullies and trolls to leave.

Provide your example with evidence, or show yourself as yet another person trying to bring this forum down with your lies and attitude.

It may be a coincidence that the @flabbyorca was also set up less than 24 hours ago.

So, I’ve printed a few things using PLA and TPU 90 in combination.
Painting it on worked, but didn’t give me what I wanted for integration.

Do most of you’all make two different bodies in fusion or similar to embed the tpu more deeply in the pla/petg body?

Are there any tricks to design I should know about?

UPDATE
Now that we have the H2D, Bambu kind of made what I wanted
