What is the real use case for this? I can understand tpu fused to pla but confused as to when this might be effective

It’s funny, I got my printer to be able to leverage the new features, but for the life of me I can’t think of a project where I could use multiple filaments like this. So at least I can watch videos like this to help spur new ideas.
I think I want to play around with mixing wall and infill filaments to make some interesting combinations. Combining things like rigidity with layer adhesion or whatever properties you might want to combine.
PETG walls with ASA infills (with chamber temp of 49C :). Strong Z, strong impact resistance, but probably also large shrinkage?
I have a couple of spools of the PLA-HR that I’ve been debating using with the H2D but was unsure about which support material to use. Are you using regular pla? Or something else? I’ve used the filament a few times before but not with a support filament.

I wanted to try PVA so I could do supports for the last 15% of the print or so, but that may be risky.
It used to knock the tool head cover loose on my x1 because it starts curling up so bad. Keep an eye on it, it may try to pull the sock off lol
When wanting to incorporate live hinges into your design? I think it would be quite useful in that regard. Having tpu hinges within PLA ( or any other stiff material) prints

I hope to have a real world use for PEBA soon. I want to try it. Right now most brands are too expensive for me to experiment with. (don’t know who I’m kidding as I’ll get it anyway)
