I bought the first of a few printers I am donating to a local school and one of the kits included in the mystery packs I received was the MakerSupply pack for a certain card shuffler.
Looks like you are going to be responsible for turning 5-11 years into degenerate gamblers.
Argh⦠Still waiting for mine. It seems to have literally fallen off the truck during Wednesdays delivery 30 Min before arrival⦠Now waiting for a new delivery date.
by the way, i had completed the print, however iāve run into a small hiccup, and to prevent this happening to you iāll call it out here as well
on the plate Body and CardHolderBrackets the supports were also created inside the screw holes at the bottom, and i wasnāt - for the life of me - able to remove them, then i went on to try and manually force thread them but that doesnāt work as the material just builds up inside, so now iām having to print the cardholderbrackets again, with support blockers added to the screw holes
@Josh-3D not sure if something that has been flagged before, but something to note as otherwise the print process went very smoothly, and the design itself is really awesome, canāt wait to finish assembly once the reprint finishes.
one other interesting thing is that the 3mf said it wasnāt compatible with my bambustudio version, however it works just fine in orca slicer, so i used that one
Ahh, I updated the plates to try and fix this too. It doesnāt, it wasnāt, printing them in the holes, but suddenly it seems like it started to.
This is odd too? Hmm.
Well, I guess Iāll try and update the plate again to try and fix that support issue. I am going to turn it off all together, I think. It was mostly on for the part itās on, to try and make the overhand surface a tad nicer. Itās not needed though.
cool yeah i think it can print that overhang without supports, but the support blockers work nicely too, so you may also go that route
I am now at final assembly as the reprints have finished, and now something completely unrelated to your design happens⦠bambu only shipped me 6 bearings instead of the 12 that are included in the makers supply kit so iām short now iāve raised the ticket with them, and see if they ship the missing item soonā¦
I did not see any obvious problems during printing but I also did not update Studio in the last month due reported issues here in the forum. I dare say Iāll find out when the shipment arrives. Hope that is soon as my little one can really do with a card shuffler due to motoric difficulties but really loving Uno.
For what itās worth, I updated the print profiles for the card shuffler, to remove those pesky supports that seem to cause everyone issues. I just turned it off all together.
Ahh, Iām getting overwhelmed. Worked has kicked into high gear. Thereās a few things I need to swing back and fix on some of my models though, and I just havenāt had the time.
I did think about the spool holder a bit and have a good idea on how to incorporate a lock that would also leave room for the idea of a desiccant holder being inserted. Iām so into my design on that now, haha. Rather than use my stack of Bambu spools, I opted to wait to print a new one of my own.
I want to build a bento box for air filtration so I can print them up in ABS. I got some of those anycubic airpure things and even that makes a difference.
I have ate all the pumpkin pie. Itās a new dawn, one without pumpkin pie. Back to the hard realities of life. The pie-less realities of life.
I donāt know who that is, but I feel a long lost connection to them, ahha.
I do have a huge issue with this model though. It was released 2 hours ago, and thus gives me no time to order the filament and print the thing before Christmas! Like comāon man!
Iāve been working on a little Christmas gift for my nephew. Heās on the spectrum, in some manner. He is huge on colors, and with Christmas, I realized, thereās not a lot of great toys that revolve around colors.
One of his favorite things to play with is my swatch collection (3d printed swatches). One of my favorite things is trains. Ha. I combined the two. These models arenāt functional train models. Theyāre just boxcar shaped swatches. Iām putting together a little track and train yard model too, so he can line them up and arrange them however heād like. I was going to do a generic-ish locomotive and caboose too.
Iāve given my nephew the first round of boxcars though and his eyes lit up when he saw them.
I did make some gridfinity bins for my own personal use. I didnāt figure others would want them, haha. I print a lot of swatches myself though, and it was more than a single swatch case could handle.
They wouldnāt let me submit my entry because I closed my social media accounts (along with accounts of any type) unless it was required during my last time on this earth. I get there are few people in my circumstance, but, given what happened a couple of months earlier, I thought they would make an exception.
They also reached out a couple of months ago to do an editorial and then pulled the request after having me provide my detailed story.
It was annoying as I opened up about my full health issues.
It was childish, and I was insulted then and disappointed they left me out in the cold. No worries, it isnāt like I will have another opportunity to share, OH YEAH, IT ACTUALLY IS.
