This is not a good vibration?

I’ve had this vibration ever since I can remember. It occurs each time I turn printer on and I thought it was just some startup process. I have the printer in another room and I start it remotely. Weeks ago I turned it on while in the room and it made a terrible growl, only for a few seconds then it stops. I don’t think this is a startup procedure, hard to tell as this printer makes ma
ny vibrations. I had one of the local kids (doesn’t read comic books he says, hmmm?) take a look and he says it’s coming from this “box fan thingy”. Whatever it is it’s getting worse. Also my last print had strange random lines? I hope this is not a repair procedure. I’m a bit long in the tooth for those abilities.

Can you post a video of the vibration noise?

I have been advised by bambu labs how to eliminate which fan is making the noise. Apparently I can actuate each fan separately either through the screen on the printer or through their application. I will perform those series of tests shortly and then post the results here. As stated here earlier the local kid is quite certain the grinding sound is coming from the “parts cooling fan”.

Ok following bambu labs directions
I actuated each fan through the printer screen. Of the three fans only one made a terrible grinding noise and that was the “Aux” fan.
So I am now certain this fan must be replaced.

Check to see if there is a piece of filament in the fan. Can you rotate it by hand? It’s the fan on the inner wall of the left hand side.

Thanks for the reply Jon.
Yes I did check inside the fan for errant filament pieces as I read about that on another post.
It is definitely a bad fan. I actuated the three fans through the print screen and discovered the “AUX” fan was the problem. I notified bambu labs and they have a new fan on its way. So far every issue I have had has been taken care of promptly. They have excellent customer service.
