Timeoutexception after 0:00:10.000000: liveview timeout

Up until recently (within the last few weeks) I have been able to view my live view and download my timelaps on my phone. The last timelaps I recived was the end of November. I am not sure what happend but now I get the following error on Bambu Handy: “Timeoutexception after 0:00:10.000000: liveview timeout”, when I try to view the live view or try to look at my timelapses. Also, I can no longer view liveview in bambu studio either; when I click play it just shows initalizing but no video. I deleted my app and reinstalled it and get the same error. I checked all my firmware update and it is up to date.

Anyone else have the same issue or something similar?? Thanks in adavnce!

Same issue there, since updating the app, version 2.17.0, I’m no longer able to view the live stream, and I have the same error on Bumbu Studio with the latest release. For instance I have another phone with the previous version, 2.16.0 and the stream in working properly. I’ve also downloaded Bambu studio 1.9.7.52 and even with that version the camera works fine, so the problem seems related to the software itself

downgrade to last working firmware version… and stay there until the latest versions are tested by others and proven as working… which might mean you’ll have to stay with the downgraded version for (sometimes) more than one year.

Yes, my issues are even crazier. Started using my P1S, just last week.
Camera never worked on Bambu studio, but worked on Bambu handy on my iphone. No big deal.

Then this morning, started getting the timed out exception on my iPhone.

So I decided to reinstall both studio and handy, and do the firmware update.
Now, camera works on studio, but I get the black screen of death on handy.

So, I am totally lost now.

I tried loading an earlier version of the Handy App on my phone and I got another error, “due to security reasons you cannot log in, update your app to log in to bambu handy” :roll_eyes: So yeah! Hopefully Bambu will fix it soon!!!

I’m having the exact same problem and I’ve added to an existing support ticket I have with BambuLabs. This new problem may be related to the problem I reported with Bambu Studio where a pop-up message comes up saying it cannot reach the server. BambuLabs has responded saying this issue will be fixed in the next update however as I said this other Timeoutexception error may be related to the same problem… likely with the printers firmware.

Yep same here and I dont want to update. If that’s the fix it only works in orca slicer to view the live view. That sucks man I can use handy anymore for my p1S

Same problem on iOS. Not able to see live view nor timelapses. Started after the last update 2.17.1

Same issue here in Android.

I am running into the same issue here - X1C liveview was working up until a few hours ago. Liveview now does not work on studio apps (mac and windows) as well as handy app on iphone.

bambu studio 1.10.1.50

Same issue for me on X1C, Bambu Handy android app wont work with live view, bambu studio on Windows seems to work fine, not ideal.

No too. No video on Bambu Studio or Handy app. Tried the Handy app on my network and remote (via Internet) and neither works. Really frustrating.

Can anyone share an alternative i can use to view the video feed?

How interesting, so this monring both my Handy app and Bambu Studio are working just fine. Nothing changed my end, and the software versions are exactly the same as the last few days when I was having issues. I suspect they have changed/fixed something in the cloud to make it work. My printer is connected to cloud (not LAN only mode)

Same as @rotanon I just came back home, and all of the sudden the app and Bambu Studio are working now. No updates and versions remained the same.

Hope it has gotten fixed to the rest of you.

Been having this issue for a couple days now. I hope there’s a fix soon, or it magically starts working again!

Same here. Printer works but not liveview. tried everything: connect, re-connect, self test, dns change. nothing ded the job

Same problems here. Bought the P1S a few weeks; camera sometimes works on the mobile app if I’m connected to the same LAN, but not remotely. Bambu Studio live view doesn’t work at all.
