Tiny screws in replacement hotend

Just treated myself to a new hotend kit, comes with shoe, spanners and many nice things BUT there are 2 very tiny ( like 2 or 3 mm tiny) allen key “grub” screws. I have not removed anything like them while swapping the hot end so I have no idea where to put them. This is not a wind up but I really dont want to just stick them in a box and forget them. Supplier could save a few pennies but chose to include them … WHY?

Is this the hot end kit you are referring to ?

You should probably specify which printer or hot end kit part number you have.

For the P1/X1 series, two screws hold the hot end to the tool head. Replacements are provided, but usually not needed.
