I created a model and uploaded it on MakerWorld. It has already been verified. I want to use it to enter a contest (the origin-zero mecha). I’ve already submitted one model successfully. I’m allowed to submit five, so there’s still room.
But when I click “Join the contest,” I only see the model that’s already participating — nothing else. So my question is: How do I get my other model into the contest?
@MakerWorld Could you please have a look at the model and why it’s not shown in the Origin-Zero Mecha Contest? It’s my Mecha Centipede. That would be very helpful.
They probably aren’t going to see that here. If you go to Makerworld and hover over your avatar you will see “support tickets” on the menu. Those are MakerWorld specific tickets and they usually answer them in within a day or two.
OH lol… sorry again, I didn’t even look at the contest. In that case I don’t see anything wrong with it. Just open a ticket and hopefully they can fix whatever is blocking it.
I guess, you were I right. My other modell, that was shown and accepted for the contest, was set on “original” by mistake. I set the other one to “original”, too - and now I can send it to the contest.
Thats irritating, because it IS a remix. So I added a post scriptum to the description and told everyone it is a remix and why I had to declare it as an original. I will change it after the contest is done. Hopyfully I don’t forget it.
And I thought the same, that maybe they had forgotten to change the setting that blocks remixes. But then I looked at a couple of the other people’s entries and they were all remixes. It’s got to be a bug.
