Toothed idlers to the toolhead and front idler?

So my 3 p1 series all have over 2000hrs on them, 2 p1ss and a p1p with p1s enclosure on it. My first p1s I got was part of batch 2 from bambu…this is the first issue with any parts on these printers that needs to be replaced besides consumables, the left front idler is starting to make a grind sound and needs to be replaced, I tried puting some thin ptfe oil that I have been using on all the steel bearings and smooth rods since day 1, I always do a full service every 200 hours bc almost all my printing is one in abs/asa. I also tried pushing grease into the idler from the top and bottom. But let me get to the brass tax here. I didnt notice the sound untill I printed with some PCTG, maybe bc I watched this new material like a hawk but I only see idler pullys on Bambus website for the xy tensioner…is it the same? I cant find any info on it in the wiki. But I got to thinking maybe its time to try out putting toothed idlers on the belts heading to the toolhead like all my Vorons do, then maybe steal one of those old smoothed ones for the front left…when printing with petg I knocked down the vfas alot by manually tensioning the belts (with a screw driver pushing on the tensioner bc they are way overtight) and a printed g2 belt tension meter that I use on all my Vorons. I have 20T 5mm hole idlers laying around. I have been wanting to do this for a while now but im woundering if anyone else has tried it. This PCTG I just tried has some vfas in it since its around the same speed as PETG…if anyone had done this mod please show pics…

Finally some one has the same thinking.

Toothed belt rubs against smooth idler is screaming out problem for what I can see. Like driving on smooth road with tyre chain for snow.

someone out there has had to done it by now…I have been thinking about this issue since the first batch of p1ps when I was printing my arc enclosure out of petg…witch made me tension the belts myself and he helped alot…back then I used a phone frq app to Voron spec but later on all my bambus an have been doing it ever since and it does help…the belts are WAY too tight but I get the reason behind it…

So what I thought was the front left idler going bad was the linear Y bearing on the left side just making noise tward the last 1/4 of the y axis. After stripping down the machine and loosing the plate with 4 screws in it thats on the outside of the gantry then the noise was gone, moved it around a few times then made it tight again and now I have not heard the noise again in the past 9 hours of printing…even if it was falling apart and I had to buy parts I wouldnt be mad at all (but that part is not available) at this point these printers dont owe me a dime and have been sooo good and problem free…I honestly havent had failed print in 1000’s of hours…I did have a failed to heat nozzle on one of them in the print start phase but that was a aftermarket heater. These machines are incredible
