Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue I can’t solve despite several attempts and research.
THE PROBLEM
When I set a filament change at a specific layer height on a multicolor model created in Fusion 360, both in the slicer preview and on the actual printed part I get:
1. Small scattered filament fragments/islands on the top surface — visible as tiny isolated yellow/purple pieces with no logical pattern
2. The top layer is not compact/solid — the infill seems to “bleed through” the top layers
CURRENT SETTINGS
- Top shell layers: 4+
- Top surface pattern: Monotonic
- Infill: 15%+
- Filament change set via layer height (NOT color painting tool)
WHAT I’VE ALREADY TRIED
- Increasing top shell layers
- Changing top surface pattern
- Adjusting bridge flow ratio
- Face offset in Fusion 360
Nothing workeed!!!
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Is there a definitive fix?
Thanks in advance!
