They have cats, and want less odor so I think a P or X series makes more sense.

I would avoid BL now with their new authentication system they are rolling out. If they roll it out, I would look for a company that cares about its customers. The good news is, BL has been really responsive to the community in the past which probably why everyone recommends them and the products are great. But this new system they are looking to roll out would mean you donât really own your printer, youâd be leasing it and BL could brick it at any point.
Agree. Even if he does not care today, he will regret the purchase in the future.
I have a DIY window exhaust system (link to the post below). I turn it on when printing filaments other than PLA.
If money is no issue, I would go with an X1C combo. X1C has hardened steel nozzle and gears, which wear down less when printing filaments filled with fibers.
If you donât have to buy it now, wait until the new printer comes out. It may have improvements that BL has learned from X1C.
Bro calm down, I have a P1S I run 24/7 and do not regret it, just because you hate the authentication update so much does not mean everyone else cares.
This will not effect the average user.
