TPU blob when flushing filament from external spool

I always get two blobs of TPU attached to the nozzle when loading TPU from the external spool holder. (First while flushing new filament, second while cleaning old filament) Fortunately sometimes it gets ejected by the nozzle cleaning process, but sometimes it blocks the purge area. Happens every time and it’s quiet annoying. The cleaning thing seems aligned to me and I didn‘t have any problems with different filament types.

Any ideas?

Have you dried you filament? TPU needs to dried and dried often. Moisture will cause the nozzle to ooze and TPU absorbs moisture fast.

Yes. Also happens when TPU is dryed. One time I didn’t notice it and the print head got bonded to the cleaning station - resulting in a nearly destoyed printer. Wondering why no one else got this problem?
