True, the surface is like a used cutting board at best. The model does have an integrated straw… but considering all the absolutely wild things kids lick and try to eat at that age, I let it slide for now

So late to the party that the party is over now, but there have been some pretty interesting vudeos lately on supports for TPU prints. PLA in particular fuses just enough to provide a good base for TPU, but once it cools it separates easily.
