Hi,
I’ve been using Bambulab P1S for a year now. Works great.
Recently I had to switch TPU provider to ROSA 3D TPU 96A. Prints amazingly well, with great detail but nozzle clogs really, really hard on every attempt going for more than a couple of hours. It just gets stuck, I need to disassemble the hotend, increase temp to ~280deg C and push the clog out with great strength using small allen key.
Previous TPU was softer, underprinting but didn’t fail. The quality of diameter dimension deteriorated massively and prints kept failing due to that so I made the switch.
Some prints clog at 30%, some at 98%, but there’s a test print that fails basically every time at the same time stamp (4 pieces, 1 piece prints well 100%):
The model looks like this:
Test.3mf (2.3 MB)
I’ve gone through all the options many times. Temp, cooling, retraction length and velocity (down to 0), printing speeds, acceleration, etc.
Made sure the hotend fan works (btw, the pin sockets suck…please change!).
Started feeding directly from the top of extruder to reduce pipe drag.
Closed or open door and top cover.
Pushed a lot of nylon and printed with ASA inbetween and both work smooth and result with good prints.
I put the model to test on Prusa Mk4 and it printed well (a bit lower quality).
I’m totally out of ideas at this point. Any suggestions?
