I bought the TPU High-Flow kit for my H2 and installed everything according to the manual, and the kit itself works as expected. However, when I tried to use the laser module, it would not slide down fully and lock into place.
After some troubleshooting I noticed that the left side of the dual filament guide has a small lip, about 0.5 mm, just to the left of the screw hole. That lip was catching the laser module and preventing it from sliding all the way down.
This could of course be a manufacturing defect on my specific part, but it feels more like a slight issue with the mold/ tooling for that component, considering how tight the fit needs to be there.
In any case, if you run into the same problem, just lightly sand or file down that lip. Once it is removed, the laser module slides down smoothly and locks into the correct position.
It is a bit disappointing that such an expensive add-on from Bambu is not completely drop‑in, especially when it is their own laser and their own TPU kit, but hey – it is Bambu Lab after all.
