After I installed the TPU assist module on my P2S it occured to me it looks a lot like the Aux bowden extruder on the X2D. Anyone tried running TPU 85A or 90A directly into the Aux extruder from say a dry box or an AMSHT?

Let me save you some time.
Forget it.
The TPU feed module just helps get soft filament to the actual extruder gear without stretching, it can’t even remotely begin to develop enough force to push filament through a hotend on it’s own entirely.

You really can’t use TPU with a bowden setup like the AUX extruder. The soft filament will bind up in the PTFE tube while it’s being pushed to the nozzle. For TPU to print successfully, you need a direct drive extruder, so it’ll only work on the main nozzle of the X2D.

Actually 95A or harder TPUs are possible, for example Ultimaker uses Bowden and can print TPU, but it requires fine tuning.
