In preparation for printing TPU, I’ve read through several Wiki documents. Most are geared towards printing without the TPU assist module and using a printer other than the P2S. I plan on using the TPU assist module with my P2S. I also use the external spool for other types of filament.

Looking at the front panel (filaments section) of my printer shows the 4 spools in my AMS and the external spool. I have individual control over all the spools.

Will the TPU assist module show as another source on the front panel?

How do I coordinate the loading of TPU with my current setup?

No it won’t there is no data exchange between printer and module, just power. The module does not exist as far as the printer or slicer are concerned, just treat it like an extra gear between your external spool and extruder.

You select external spool and TPU, that’s it, rest is manual
