TPU spherical shapes print with defects

Hi. For whatever reason I can’t post to “P series” section.

Printer P1S, 1 year old, up to date firmware, works great with all basic materials, no other issues so far.

I’m trying to solve a puzzle. In general the printer is great but fails one particular sort of geometry - spherical shapes with TPU. I’ve tried a few models, different TPUs (96A, 90A, Bambu TPU, other brands) and results are pretty much the same. Here is how it looks:

They were printed in the opposite direction to the view point (the spherical side on the build plate). These have only 2.5mm thickness but same issues appear in very thick parts.

Infill doesn’t matter, 100% poses the same threat to the print as 20%. Support doesn’t matter as well. These were printed with support, but all other failed without support exactly the same way. Here’s how it looks mid-print and where the filament lifts a bit:

Speeds between 18-35 mm/s. First inside wall, then outside. I’ve gone through dozens of settings and prints and all present some issues of this kind. Other prismatic shapes, many kinds, even small ones with details as well as cylindrical ones (with straight walls) print perfectly fine.

I will appreciate if someone who’s had similar issues guides me in the right direction to solving this one.

This would be an excellent candidate to print sphere-side-down with the use of PLA support/interface.

It’s a single extruder printer.

Side note - before I purchased BBL P1S I printed a few of these on Zortrax m300 Dual (same material for support, same model, similar parameters) and they came out nice and smooth.

Different slicer though and the printer is already decomissioned.
