I am trying to print on my Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite. When I loaded the model, from Maker World, The Studio asked to update saying something about TPU. Knowing they have a new TPU filament … I authorized. Now nothing prints. I have attempted a model several times but it has “self cancelled” every attempt. I haven’t had wonderful luck with Bambu customer service so am hoping to get some help here. Any ideas?
printing tpu with the a1 is pretty hard imo, do you have 85a or 95 ? the softer the tpu is the harder it is to print as the extruder is not really meant for such material
Not trying to print in TPU … don’t have any and no plans to purchase … just using Bambu PLA Matte. My problem is that the printer is canceling prints on its own and the only thing changed in my setup is the update that mentioned TPU. Just want to print a model from maker world in PLA and the printer won’t print.
i would factory reset the printer… delete the slicer and reinstall everything … meaby a bug ? it could also be that you have downloaded a modified gcode then saved your print profiles and now its canceling by itself… other then that i have no clue
I think they’re just talking about the recent Bambu Studio update that added a profile for a BBL TPU. It sounds like something may have happened with the install. I would first uninstall Bambu Studio entirely and reinstall it before resetting the printer
Thanks … the reset and reinstall seems to have done the trick.
Would it be possible to exchange the gear that pulls in the filament to better work with softer TPU? Maybe something more rounded on the teeth, so it won’t chop it up or break it off?
do you use Bambu tpu for ams or normal tpu? normal tpu you cant use on ams lite
