As you can see in the picture I the small part is printing in the the air and I try to force support to only be there and it won’t even work that way. I think bambu should fix that. Possible bug. If anyone can solve this issue let me know thanks
It would be helpful if you upload the .3mf file of the particular model you are having issues with.

OHHHH Its the slicer itself, it BUGGED out i closed it and reopened it and problem solved.
@JonRaymond is correct. If you could upload the 3MF the community will be better able visualize what was the design-intent of this shape.
As of now, all we see is the following structure but absent of context, it’s hard to visualize or guess what the slicer thinks it was trying to do. The 3MF must be saved in the format as you sliced it, otherwise we will all be guessing. But it’s understandable if the model is confidential. So in that case, if you would kindly post some slices that have the supports unchecked. Here are some examples of the kind of image I am referring to.
If I just leave all of the line types checked, this is what I get very similar to your screengrab.
But if I can see the model with the supports “unchecked” then the object that your support is trying to hold up will be more visible.
Then of course if you can screengrab a couple of alternate angles, it becomes clearer as to what structures are being influenced in your model.
If I understand your verbal description, I’m guessing that there is a suspended structure that you don’t want supported. Correct me if I misunderstood. But if that is the case, have you tried painting your supports onto the areas of the model you want supports to tie to?
Here is the example after applying manual tree supports that are painted-in.
Having the same issue on a print that was successfull ~30 times. My supports dont have a interface on the bottom…so no connection because the supports cannot be printed on the plate.
Tried every support type, angle, all settings. They are alway floating - wtf?
