Hey gang! I am NOT a newb! having gotten that out of the way…
used an ender 3 learning all the hard-earned lessons before switching to a P1P. Been in love with it ever since!Been printing successfully for over a year now. But made a silly mistake recently. I sent a print job to my P1P without the build plate. an hour later I returned to a big blobby mess.
nothing goopy got into the print head mechanism and hot end. But ever since then the quality of my prints have been off. Corners not sharp and all sorts of ugliness I haven’t seen before. I did a re-calibration and no change in behavior.
My gut tells me to get a replacement nozzle and hot end. But I wanted to get some advice from Bambu veterans. This is my first problem after a year of heavy use.
this is generic PLA+ i’ve been using for years. no change there. i typically print at .16 layers.
This would be my recommendation as well. Also, I would recommend blowing out the extruder gear with compressed air/air gun to clean out any remaining debris.
