So my friend asked for a giraffe that is a business card holder for his desk. Im not close to done (so its still pretty rough), but one thing that immediately concerned me was: when I add parts or negative parts its no longer deemed as like “solid” I guess. The walls in the pit are solid and walling off the infill making it look clean, but the floor and the “ceiling” on the bottom is still not “topping” off. Even if I add a cube part inside, the top is still just infill paterned. Img to show:
Alright so since I dont have the skills to design organic creatures in fusion 360 I had Sora (ChatGPT) photos, generate an image of a giraffe card holder. I then inserted the image into meshy ai. It generated: meshgiraffe v1.3mf (708.4 KB)
Im not good with parametrics in Fusion360 so I decided I could just use negative parts and positive parts to make the hole and crevis.
Im referring to the parts like in the crevis the floor is still the color (in the slicer) of the infill and some on the top surrounding the crevis. Ive smoothed it out, but yet its even more infill color. I am worried its not seeing it as solid.
Ah I see, thanks for helping. Sorry Im still getting the hang of all the FDM lingo. So the only reason its different color is because it is actually topped off and the rest is just walled off correct?
