I believe the TH board is bad in my P1S. I have made a support ticket and hope to get help from Bambu Lab soon.
I first got HMS: 0300.0300.0001.0001 (hotend fan too slow/too fast) after changing hotend from .4mm to .2mm and printing several prints. It was suggested to be a fan problem so I tried two extra fans removed from Bambu Lab hotends which have never been used before and still get the error.
I went through several other checks and gave up for the day. Out of nowhere it seemed to have corrected itself when trying a print the following morning.
Yesterday, however, HMS: 0300.0300.0001.0001 returned, for good it appears.
What’s odd is I can hear the hotend fan, loud and clear, but get the error.
I did a heat test where you manually set the temp to 60c and the fan should kick on at 50c. It did. Then lower the temp below 50c to see if the fan shuts down. It did that, too. That’s why I believe the TH Board is bad in my P1S.
I hope BL Service agrees and sends a replacement TH Board soon. AI service asked me to try replacing the hotend fan even though I have tried that twice already with the same results.I bought the P1S in late July this year. I don’t recall how long parts are under warranty. The BL store says a TH Board is $40.
I followed all the wiki suggestions, ran several test, changed fans, nothing fixes the HMS: 0300.0300.0001.0001 error.
I made out and sent a service request, sent data from Bambu Handy including photos. All my personal info along with the P1S serial number, purchase date, you name it. All I have received is an AI computer asking me to replace the hotend fan even though I had said I did that several times. AI said I needed to complete info like date of purchase, etc, etc. even though all of that info was at the bottom of the email that sent!
AI also said to seek service from the retailer. Best Buy does not service 3d printers!
I’m beginning to think poorly of Bambu Service. What kind of time frame should I expect for BL Service to respond with a solution?
