I was printing with Elegoo Rapid PETG because it was cheap, and now two of my Bambu Lab hotends are clogged. I measured the filament that went in there, it was 2mm. I can’t push filament through at any temp. So 2 of my hotends are just dead.
Thanks for the heads up, as I had just started to run some tests with Elegoo Rapid PETG. One thing immediately stood out: its maximum volume flow rate is 2x of any other PETG that I’ve ever tested.
I did some minimal calibration, and the the black rapid PETG runs fast: 25mm^3/sec at a nozzle temp of 230C, and 30mm^3/sec at a nozzle temp of 250C. It might actually go higher than 30mm^c/sec, as I didn’t try to test for higher than that (yet).
Three questions:
What color was it?
What hotend temperature were you using?
What nozzle diameter were you using?
