Ugly Concentric surface pattern seam

is there any way to move the position of the seam when using concentric infill?

technically it‘s not the seam all the other seam setting control since we are talking about one layer but still it would be wonderful to achieve a look without this nasty line.

i tried rotating the model, changing from arachne to classic walls, Printing with lots of perimeter walls to not use solid infill at all on the top layer. All didn‘t change the outcome

thanks for any ideas in advance

I used a primitive cube in Studio and found the same problem. The lines all start and finish in the middle of a straight edge, instead of a corner where the line ends would be less obvious.

Then I tried the same cube in OrcaSlicer, and found that the lines start/stop at the angles, so you might want to switch slicers for this project.

That’s pretty fascinating. I believe this may be the first occasion where I’ve seen a difference between Orca’s algorithm and Bambu Studio’s.
