Is any one else encountering the following issue:
When you slice a file but you don’t want to print it right away..
So you select Send instead of Print.
A popup appears telling you there is no usb drive installed, so what about the internal storage?
I am so confused, been printing for over 2 decades with multiple brands.. but my new H2D sometimes makes me feel as if I am a novice in the 3D printing field, some settings or workflows just don’t make sense to me (yet ).
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.
Sorry to tell AFAIK you have to put a USB storage into the machine since its not open sourced OS so Bambu wont happy if anyone can access the internal storage in any method.
Someone from this forum reco me the very tiny low profile USB dongle from sandisk, well I got one as my “resolution” as I have no choice just like you
The “Send” feature has always transfered the file (but not start it) to an external storage across all of Bambu’s lineup. On the P1/X1/A1 series it was to SD card and on the P2S/H series it’s to a usb drive. If you “Print Plate” it will transfer the file to the internal storage and start the print. The “send” feature allows you to store up multiple files ahead of time which you can start from the printer interface at a later date.
And now 2 weeks later, with the latest firmware update, you can actually choose “Internal” or “External” storage when you click “send” plate after slicing . Right after receiving my ordered USB stick..
