Has anybody else experienced the same issue? I received the following error message alongside one that states “Please try to upload the model again” while trying to upload a file with at least one Mixed Filament to MakerWorld:
I can easily replicate it by opening a new project, adding a cube, creating a mixed filament, then saving and uploading the file to MakerWorld. I suspect Bambu Lab may not have updated the slicer that MakerWorld uses to verify the file is valid, but who knows? Maybe it’s something on my end.
Appreciate any info or feedback about others’ experiences!

If you haven’t found a temporary workaround already, I’ve found that if you upload the 3mf print profiles with the mixed filaments as additional files - they can be downloaded using the “Download STL/CAD Files” options. This way, people can start trying the model without an “official print profile”. As soon as the error is fixed, I will upload my Designer Print Profiles but for now, this is what I’ve done. I can’t post the link here but search for “Color or Colour Mixing Test cubes”
I am facing the same issue. My color mix upload is rejected with “Unsupported features were found in this 3MF file. These features are still in an experimental stage. Please wait until MakerWorld supports them before uploading.” - So, how do I know when to try again? The only release notes I found haven’t been updated since 2024 (bambulab wiki, makerworld release-notes).
This is a different error message to yesterday so hopefully someone has recognised the problem and they are working on it?
I reached out to MakerWorld support to report the bug, and they replied with the following message below. I haven’t tried uploading a mixed filament model since, but perhaps they updated the error to prevent further confusion. I’ve asked in another reply when they are expecting this feature to no longer be experimental, but I can understand where they’re coming from for blocking these mixed filament files while they’re still in active development.
