I am overall very satisfied with the practicality of my P2S, however print quality isn’t very impressive.
Here is a first layer: auto bed leveling has been done. PLA is fairly dry. It looks as if the extrusion rate is uneven (seing the sudden shift) as well as the bed not being at the same distance from the nozzle (the more progressive area with gaps between lines..)
This is with BBL basic PLA and mostly stock settings.
For the first layer problems, turn off Automatic Flow Calibration and set your Initial layer flow ratio to 1.05. I had the same first layer issue with PETG HF and this is what worked for me. I get great first layer results.
Just to clarify, you should do the Automatic Flow Calibration from the app. This will set your pressure advance numbers. Once done you don’t need to keep it on each time you print (the printer even tells you this under Advanced Options). If you leave it on, Initial flow ratio has no effect. This is what works for me to get perfect first layers. Your experiences may differ.
I see severe under-extrusion. You need to calibrate your filament and leave the automatic flow calibration on, as this calibrates the pressure advance.
Thank you for the answers, I had good results before with the same filament, but will try calibrating again. I also just checked belt tension, toolhead screws, and nozzle fastening..
