You can try placing the plate into a freezer and/or heating the heat bed up to 60c+ and see if either of those helps with releasing it from the bed.
Unfortunately PETG really loves to bond itself to print beds, especially PEI and glass. In the future, I highly suggest using glue when printing with PETG, as it acts as a release agent.
thank you for you suggestions
When using PETG, I’ve never had a full print stick to the bed but when small bits of support are still on the bed then I take the print off, I spray a bit of IPA on it and then it comes off.
You could (should) use the glue as release agent. Especially PETG can stick really well to PEI plate. Glue is not only used to stick to the plate but is also recommended as release agent and prevents to ruin your build plate. I was stubborn and ruined the hot build plate sheet by not using glue while printing TPU (same story).
Most prints will literally fall off the build plate if you give things time to cool down. I’ve never had a part remain stuck after 5 minutes in the freezer.
YEEEEE
its worked for me
Thank you very much
Out of curiosity, what did you end up doing? Putting it in the freezer, heat the bed up to 60c+, use glue?
The glue option seems the easiest.
one night in freezer and heat the bed to 60 C .
Glad that worked for you.
Personally I think that it sounds like quite a bit of work just to get a print off the plate, but if it worked and you are happy then all is good.
Did you try glue?
Freezer method has worked for me too, but, for the last year I have cleaned my Engineering Plate with Dawn dish detergent, dried it off, and then lightly and evenly sprayed it with Aquanet Hair Spray and have been able to print with PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, and PA successfully. Bed adhesion and part removal issues are gone. I do the same thing with my Bambu PEI plate as well.
YES. this is the best solution . following your recommendation i bought a wella hair spray and is worked perfectly .
Thank you verry much
