Update 2.5.0.66 and now prints suck

I had a update yesterday and now prints fail fast. No bed adhesion. Plates are very clean!!!

Calibrations prints are excelellnt but as soon as i print they fail. PLA and was dried for 12 hours.

I hate the updates. I finally get everything working great and then the updates screw everthing up.

Is this a common problem???

Roll back to the the older Studio and see if the problem persists. Go from there.

Basically, no one is forcing you to update. You can wait weeks, months, even longer or never.

  • Never change a running system.

Otherwise, you can always reinstall the old version; no one is stopping you from doing that.

firmware on printer show 01.11.02.00 and studio shows 2.5.0.66

No issues here. Have your settings changed?

I figured it out and did not want to be one of those posters who never answers after the prob is discovered. This is a four color print and for some reason the filament for my fist layer was set to “BBL P1P”.

I don’t have a P1P so no idea how this happened. I was not able to see the “P1P” part of the text until I click to edit the filament. The other 3 filaments were correct.

This took me forever to figure out and honestly it was Google Gemini that told me what to look for .
