Hi everybody,
I created a profile for a model for the printer I have, the X1-C.
Someone asked me to also provide the profile for the A1, which I don’t own.
How do I do that?
thanks
Hi everybody,

you don’t, print profiles require photo confirmation that the design printed successfully, therefore you cannot post one (unless just upload like it was an STL so the user could download)
that being said, unless there is something really specific that you did, there’s no need for a different profile, unless you removed A1 from the compatibility list when you uploaded your profile, which you shouldn’t do
as I wrote I have a X1-C, and I know how makerworld works.
I printed the model I created, I uploaded it to makerworld, but someone is asking me a profile per the A1.
I know you can download it and easily change your printer in Bambu Studio, but I guess they are using the app? and that might not allow to change the printer or to select the A1?
then how do I make it available for those who have an A1?
I don’t have an A1, but you can indeed choose a printer in the Handy app, the only issue would be if it was an A1mini and the design not fit in the build plate, but the A1 has the same dimensions, so to my knowledge it does not need a separate profile
that’s what I thought, and I was pretty surprised an user asked me for that? I thought he could do it himself. that’s why I was asking. but it seems like I was right then?
