Upload print profile problem

Your print profile … did not pass the slicing test. Please make sure the model is sliced normally on Bambu Studio before uploading.

I tried some different settings, but I received the same message.

Had the same thing couple times. What fixes it for me is to close bambu studio, open fresh project then open my file, slice and save it under new name. After that it works despite being exact same thing.

Before creating the post, I also tried to perform the operation again on another PC, without success.

A few profiles recently have failed due to having custom filaments and/or printers saved into the profile.

Check that it isn’t true for your profile.

Take a screenshot of the actual error and share it here, and sometimes it provides additional information you may have not spotted or understood.

I tried to redo everything from scratch, making sure to check what was recommended, but the problem persists

Do you have the upload error screenshot you can share?

That isn’t even close to beig helpful.

I can understand why this is so. frustrating.

As a test.

  • Create a new instance of BS
  • Put the raw STL into the build plate
  • ONLY enable support (tree)
  • Save

Try uploading that to a model, and set it to private so it isn’t shown to the public.

See what happens.

Did you update the slicer and try as a 3mf ?

I have the same problem with a total of 13 models.
I opened a support ticket a few days ago and gave step-by-step instructions to the support team so that they could reproduce the error.
The support was able to check the process and confirmed that the problem is internal to Makerworld. With a bit of luck, the error will be fixed with the next update.
This is not a problem with the slicer, but with the images that belong to the model.

Here is an excerpt from the support ticket:

Thank you for your time and patience. Upon examination, it appears that the issue lies within our system and the model images.

If the model author deletes and re-adds the model images before republishing the model, the issue may be fixed.

If this approach is not feasible, please await our resolution of this matter. We are actively working towards optimizing our system and aim to fully rectify this issue in upcoming versions, allowing for the seamless uploading of print profiles.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and negative user experience this may have caused.

Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
MakerWorld

A great addition to the conversation.

The print profile upload is now working as expected.
I had several failed print profiles saved as a draft, which i could now publish.
