Network/cloud/account PERFECT - Studio Windows 11 bug confirmed.
So, I would uninstall Kaspersky first. It is known to cause a lot of problems by burrowing deep into the system and doing more harm than good. Furthermore, several authorities have warned that this Russian software should no longer be used because it is suspected of spying on computers. This suspicion is not unfounded.
Anyone who installs this is practically begging for their computer to have problems.
Before you panic, take it step by step: update your router. This has helped most people with similar problems on this forum.
Then try changing the DNS address, which is essentially the phone book for addresses, or alternatively use a VPN. It may be that your internet provider is having problems resolving the address.
But this step-by-step approach only makes sense if you first uninstall this Trojan software, which messes around with your system in such a way that it is almost impossible to perform an accurate error analysis. Turning it off doesn’t help either, because you can’t turn off the software at all; it always runs in the background at the deepest level.

[RetroSharky], how are you?
Removing Kaspersky Small Office Security is not an option. First, because I still have a license contract for 20 machines for the next 3 years. And I’ve been using Kaspersky without any problems for almost 10 years.
Besides that, the main security forums and specialized websites here in Brazil, at least for the last 5 years, have consistently pointed to Kaspersky as the best antivirus. The largest distributor of Microsoft licenses is also the distributor of Kaspersky.
I’ve been using Bambu printers for at least 2 years together with Kaspersky and never had a single problem.
The issue started happening this week. On different machines, with different versions of Bambu Studio, with both Kaspersky and Windows Defender turned off.
I honestly don’t believe the problem, after 2 years of use, is related to Kaspersky.
My router is the one provided by the internet service provider. There’s no possibility of firmware updates on this device. I’ve already configured Google’s DNS on it. I also tried Cloudflare’s DNS, and even with no DNS defined, and none of the 3 cases worked.
And as I mentioned above, I’ve already tried with different providers: from my company, my cell phone, and my home.
I think you should find the IP address of your misbehaving printer, and send that to your network admin, and ask for logs of any firewall exceptions/dropped traffic from that IP address as a SOURCE. I am not talking about windows or anything on your pc, or your own router, I am talking about the network devices that furnish your corporate network that the printer is hooked up to.
I am the network administrator, lol. The printers’ IPs are assigned via DHCP directly by the ISP router. I’ve already reset the router to factory settings, powered off all printers and powered them back on, forcing new IPs. I’ve done various tests as mentioned above, and nothing worked.
From my side of network infrastructure and hardware, nothing changed. I even used to work with multiple instances of Bambu Studio, different versions, logged in simultaneously on different computers.
The only thing that makes me suspect the origin of the problem is a Windows 11 update to version 25H2 and an NVIDIA driver update, both of which occurred this week.
I mention NVIDIA because, in addition to all the connection problems already mentioned, all versions of Bambu Studio I’ve tried to install are showing slowness and freezing in the DEVICE menu. Which has appeared in other topics here.
Well network admin, now’s your time to shine. Enable outbound dropped packet logs, filter by your printer VLAN, and send a print. See if you get a hit.

Thank you for the detailed suggestions regarding firewall outbound blocking. Let me address each point:
Router/Firewall Status:
- IPv4 Firewall set to “Low” protection (just tested OFF - same SSL Error 28)
- IPv6 Firewall ON (just tested OFF - same SSL Error 28)
- Google DNS configured (tested Cloudflare + default - no change)
- Router factory reset + new printer IPs via DHCP
- Tested LAN ping to printer IPs: 0% loss, 8ms avg
You don’t have to take my word for it; you can search for it on Google and read about it on any professional IT security website. It won’t take you more than 10 minutes to read up on it. Why would I say something inaccurate when professional organisations like the CCC, BSI, etc. have already covered it?
You don’t have to take the advice, but don’t be surprised if no one can help you.
Germany tells Kaspersky users to uninstall Russian antivirus software
US Bans Kaspersky Antivirus Software Over Russian Ties
Why is Kaspersky banned?
- Kaspersky banned by the US government
- UK highlights risks of using Kaspersky
- The European Parliament calls on the EU to ban Kaspersky
- Germany recommends replacing Kaspersky
- Italy’s public sector told to replace Kaspersky
- Lithuania bans Kaspersky on sensitive computer networks
- Netherlands phasing out Kaspersky products
Thank you very much. I’m doing very well and had a nice day, but I don’t think that’s the point.
I will perform a complete removal of Kaspersky and conduct a test, then return to report if the scenario returns to normal.
As mentioned, please take the opportunity to check whether your router has received an update in the meantime. In 95% of cases, this will resolve the issue; the remaining 5% are more complicated.
I’m getting the impression that your corporate router is some consumer level stuff that doesn’t have audit capability. Try this - from your phone over cellular, create a wifi hotspot, bind the printer to that wifi, and see if things work. Or literally remove the printer from the office and take it to any other wan accessible network and test.
Edit: some of bambus printers only accept 2.4ghz network and this your hotspot adventure may be harder depending on your phone hardware… but I hope you get what I’m asking - change the printers network to a new wan for the test, not your pc

Another more hands-on test to see if src printer dest AWS is working on your printer’s network would be to factory reset an a1 printer. Part of new device setup phones home and generates a QR code serverside to display to you for binding to handy. If that qr code generation times out that would be another piece of evidence.
