Using BL TPU for AMS on Single Spool on A1

Is there any reason NOT to use the new Bambu TPL for AMS on a single spool rather than on the AMS when printing one color?

No.

It will work just fine on the external spool as it will in the AMS.

The only reason it is marketed as TPU for the AMS is because this variant of TPU is stiffer than the TPU many have experienced previously.

This increased stiffness allows the TPU to work in the AMS as it is stiff enough to be pushed into the mechanical process the different AMS units employ.

If you are using the external spool, you will neither gain nor lose anything.

Just remember it is stiffer than TPU 95A, I believe BL say it is 65D, this is much stiffer, but, still flexible.
