In the Bambu Studio Wiki, it states that you can form text to the surface of an object by selecting the “Surface” checkbox. In reality, this seems to have no effect.
What am I missing?
TIA

Well I have another issue with “Surface”, I can’t see it at all, anybody that knows what i’m doing wrong here?
Adding text to a surface seem to be working for me, using simple examples and Studio 2.2.085.
There are many options, so there are many ways to get it wrong.
It is very difficult to say what you are doing wrong since we do not know what you are trying to accomplish or what you have done already.
Maybe uploading a few screenshots, or a sample project, would help us find a solution to your difficulty.

same I just don’t have the option
I got it on my end, make sure the object you want to add the text to is selected, when you text, other wise its making a completely new object
I had the same issue. The issue I had is that I didn’t realize you have to first merge the text and the part on which you want to place it on, then “Surface” and a few other things become available as options.
