I still cant calculate when UTC 0+ is, timezone ■■■■ is confusing for me but i guess since you posted this I was correct assuming it was beyond that time

Haha! Same here, made 3 models waiting to upload. I saw we can upload but just not publish, I will try that with one model just to be sure.
I am new and its the first contest I am waiting for. Torture!

I think we shouldn’t expect it to start within the next 5 hours (just loose conclusions based on observations in my time zone).

I just wanted to do it before I went to bed, I imagine as soon as I wake up there will be 50 million entries but oh well

early entries have no bearing on winning… they dont go by how many likes or downloads you receive, i have seen many last minute entries win, not to mention its probably 20-30 days worth of entries that will trickle in… i see now benefit of getting it in early other than more exposure… which is understandable
its all about the exposure! I had a close shot at a win in the past but I’ve given up on that now, just gonna throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks

i dont understand any of that AZ USA doesnt do the time changes so not necessarily MST we kind of have our own time zone… regardless ill just watch for it to open, they never seem to start on time anyhow
gotcha… yeah i have gotten pretty discouraged as a lot of the contests are too flexible on the criteria… i feel bad for all those people who already posted all their valentine stuff as they will be ineligible for the contests
this does absolutely nothing to tell me the actual time the contest was supposed to start… if i dont know what time 0+ UTC is, then i cant add or deduct the 7 hours… is utc 0+ 12 am?.. regardless as stated it has pretty much been solved contest is late… i will just continue to watch for them to open as start time seems to be irrelevant to the actual time they state it will begin,
There have been many that uploaded days ago… thats definetely too early, I have a vague guess they didnt read the rules.

Not everyone will submit their models to the contest. Sometimes it’s good to upload earlier because people are already starting to look for something for Valentine’s Day (and for Easter as well).

Are you sure that models uploaded before the contest begins won’t be eligible for the contest? I’m new, and unfortunately, I’ve already uploaded all my Valentine’s Day-themed models …

That’s exactly what I was thinking, but if models uploaded a few days earlier can’t participate in the contest, it would feel like a bit of a loss. Fortunately, the download/print for two of my models are pretty good.
Alright, lesson learned… Fortunately, my models have been getting a decent number of downloads.
thats good too though and you will still have about 20-30 days to make new stuff if you desire…
