I had to remove my hot end to clear a clog in the nozzle.
Unfortunately one of the connectors on the circuit board came off when I was unplugging the wire.
For something that may be removed frequently it’s very fragile.
I ordered a new board and it came with a tube of “silicon glue” to “reinforce connections”.
Has anyone used this?
The last thing I want to do is glue the connections together.
I watched a video on how to change the board and he didn’t use the glue.

I have had this happen also. The solder shouldn’t com apart, but I was able to solder is back on. I did also order a new board and installed it later.
Don’t use the silicon glue, since that will just make it harder to change the nozzle next time. It’s to keep the connector from vibrating apart especially during shipping.
I got tired of removing these connectors and switched to using the Microswiss FlowTech hot end and nozzle. This way you just have to unscrew the nozzle.
the one that came off is the vertical one, top right side of the board.

Does anyone have a link to a magnetic allen wrench screw driver. The video I watched the guy had an iiglo one but I can’t find it on their website.
