Just FYI, there are models on MakerWorld that will immediately download a virus onto your system, allowing the attacker to take control. Your Windows account will also be compromised.

I informed the responsibles about this on Sunday. Trojan Win32/Cerdigant.A!dha
The virus adds root certificates into your micrososft account which than are multiplied to each PC you will login
Is this when you click on a model or when you download one?

LOL, some of us do. I have written a lot software in VB6 and in Office VBA that my shop runs on and controls instruments with and gets data from them. Linux cannot offer me that right now. For me, all Linux is good for is DOSBOX and browsing the innerwebs. Yes, there are office programs, but even my spreadsheets have a lot of VBA code behind them. If people just use the basics, Linux or Apple OS is probably fine.
