Just ordered the upgrade kit. Figured I would let people know since it wasn’t to be released till January. And I did not get an email notification.

Must have only had a few. I’m glad I checked even though I may not install it right away until some videos come out in case I run into any issues. But most likely I won’t want to wait…. I received an email saying expected Dec 28th.

Ive created several step-by-step build guides for Prusa - I will be creating a similar complete build guide for the Vortek upgrade too!

Sorry I meant a video build guide - Ive created Prusa’s video guides for their printers. I may do the same for the Vortek upgrade.

I am afraid that the conversion time in hours would turn into weeks for me. Factoring parts I lose and or break.

I was thinking of taking pictures and notes during the process, To show how hard it actually is or isn’t.

I’m used to printer builds (Prusa mainly) so don’t think the Vortek upgrade is particularly difficult - it’s more a fiddly process and one where you need to keep organised - so keeping track of parts and screws, keeping them grouped together, etc. But taking a step at a time I feel it’s looking quite straightforward so far…
