I’ve been waiting for the upgrade Vortek kit to become available and I signed up for the “Notify me when available” option.
Well… I finally received the email notification that it’s available for purchase!!
But when I click the “Buy Now” from the email, it sends me to the link that still says “Notify me when available” option.
So, is it available to buy or what?
Does anyone have information to clarify?

Probably a bug. They aren’t supposed to release until the beginning of the year.
It was in stock for about 10 units then sold out again
I gave up waiting and picked up an H2C.
Now I’m using the H2D almost exclusively for 1 or 2 filament prints. Now I just need an H2S LOL.
This was my suspicion as well. Looks like I missed the boat.
Yes I was about to buy one with it in my cart and bambu said they did a small batch release
I purchased one, so yes, they were on sale. Not sure how many units sold. But on a whim, I just was looking at the site and caught it. A couple hours before my email came…
I was going to buy one but realized I still need another ams so I will just wait until the January drop I still think we should get discounted rate for hotends and ams units and power adaptors when we buy them along with the upgrade
Bambu does like to sneak things in the shop when least expected. I think they like to set dates later than what they plan so that they can temper expectations if they can’t get it there on time. Cool that you managed to grab an upgrade kit. Hope to hear how it goes for you!

It was insane for real.
No one knows how many were available for sale, nor it wasn’t a bug in the system. When you try to buy something, and you are asked you if you want to be notified when it’s available, it’s means it’s not available for purchase. When you get those notifications, they typically get sent after the product is available for sale. So if you are lucky, you can buy the product before the notification emails are sent out. That has happened to me at least twice before. I purchased mine from the US store 12/12 at 10PM. Today I received notification that the Ontrac received the shipment and expected delivery is 12/17 Weds. FYI, the product was available for at least 2 hours before I made my purchase.
I ordered mine last week when it came available for about 6 hours. I did not get notified. I just happened to check at the right time I guess. I do have a UPS tracking number.

I was fortunate enough to receive an availability notification, and I placed my order along with 6 additional .4 Vortek hotends. Almost immediately after that, the site reverted to “Notify Me When Available.” I thought my order was taken in error, but I eventually received a shipping notification. Vortek is on the way. This H2D has become quite an expensive printer after this add-on.
Unfortunately only one box labeled Vortek upgrade was shipped. The second box with the toolhead, heatbed, AP board and the Vortek rack was not shipped. Per the wiki, there was 2 boxes in the upgrade a 2nd box would have these items. Apparently a warehouse didn’t know that the Vortek upgrade was 2 boxes. I received an email before I received the shipment saying that my shipment would be missing parts, and they would try to ship these items as soon as possible. However, no ship date was provided. Maybe the 2nd box is not available yet.
That’s a long time to wait. Maybe they are shipping the parts to me now. LOL
Should have labeled the boxes 1 of 2, and 2 of 2, Do Not Separate.
Or… And hear me out on this, maybe ship everything in ONE Box?
I’d rather they up the bubble wrap game on orders with a bunch of items in a box.
