If someone writes:

I went to Central Bank today, tried to withdraw some money, and the teller said "We decided to keep your money and spend it at a strip club. It's gone. Leave or we call the cops."

Someone is always sure to reply:

I've never had a problem at Central Bank.

As if that somehow negates your experience. Who cares if 99 times out of a 100 the bank processes withdrawls like they should if one time in a hundred they just say “haha F you piss off”.

It’s nice that you never had a problem with voxel. That doesn’t mean 1 time out of 100 they can steal people’s money.

I haven’t seen the other 99 posts saying that VoxelPLA is rubbish…
If it is so rubbish I’m sure others will say.
Not having used it, I can’t comment on it.

I like how most posts in this thread are either missing the point or arguing about missing the point.

So, to bring this back on track I offer this quick, human-generated summary:

  • User previously had good experience with VoxelPLA
  • User then ordered and had :poop: experience with delivery unfulfilled for 2 months
  • user warns others because company instead of owning up and refunding order kept pushing back date and even asked for chargeback to be removed (before order got fulfiled)

Additionally if my human math is correct, in the linked thread there’s at least 3 different users claiming to have problems with Voxel shipping stuff.

One problem: reading the reddit thread is freaking jarring experience, replies look as if generated… Or maybe that’s because a lot of AI training data was scraped from reddit and redditords sound like ai because ai sounds like redditors…

Anyway: anybody’s experience is always anegdotal, be it bad or good. Only multiple anegdotes make data that can be used to spot patterns.
