Waiting for chamber to heat itself

Lets say the printer is already at hot at 60°C and a new print starts. The target temp is 54°C but the printer is at 60°C. Can anyone else confirm they’ve had this dumb issue where the printer will just sit at 60 and continually supply heat to itself while also waiting to cool down? Its happened so many times catching me off guard, an hour goes by, and the printer hasn’t even laid down the first layer. Can you imagine how thats frustrating?

H2D ever since coming out has continually had this stupid run around error. Can anyone share feedback on what theyve done to avoid this? I havent come up with anything other than opening up the printer to let heat escape, which is great because VOCs smell lovely.

First advice would be wait just a bit longer before starting the new job.

If the 60C is fine for your print project then you can also set it to 60C in the project.

I haven’t tested it, but you could try to type 60C manually when it’s in that waiting state to see if it continues and then set it back to 54C again.

And you can open a ticket.

However, if your printer chamber was 60C when you started your job, you must have been breathing VOC’s already when you took out your previous print job.
