Wanted feature for auto drying and print with delay

One feature I would really like to have is for the AMS to be able to dry the filament for x hours and then start printing.

Hence, I load a filament and set it to print a model after having dried the filament for 4 hours at 80°C. And then it dries and prints without any human interaction.

Problem with that, it needs to disable auto rotate the spool during the heating process.

No problem at all, just don’t “auto rotate”.

If you have PETG or higher temp loaded it will already let you dry(AMS2, not sure on HT yet) with it loaded and not rotating. I think this would be a good option to add. Printer after drying cycle complete.

Ok great, how do I set that up?
I couldn’t even dry PLA just because there was PETG in the AMS too. Ridiculous.

Still want the auto-start after drying, though

On the H2d you just go to the AMS and select your drying settings. As long as there is no PLA listed as being in the AMS it will allow you to dry while there loaded but not printing.
