I am looking for some ideas on how to solve warping issues on larfe flat pieces. I am using the Bambu A1. Bed temp is 65C. I have tried 70C it kind of helps. Build Plate is PEI Plate with .4mm hardened nozzle. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
First, crank up the heating in the room the printer is sitting in. I have found PLA’s sweet spot is 35-39°
(but I use enclosed printers).
While the room is heating, thoroughly scrub the (textured???) plate with hot water, dishwashing liquid and a clean brush. Really put some elbow grease in it and do it several times.
If you are using the Smooth PEI, cleaning is a bit easier, but you will want to use either liquid glue or a few lines of glue stick evenly distributed across the plate with a wet paper towel.
Then add mouse ears before slicing and maybe increase nozzle temp for the first layer only (!) by 5-10°.
To reduce the cooling temp differential, which causes curling and warping, reduce the layer height (except for the first layer).
In desperate cases, consider also slowing down.
Oh, and avoid all drafts!

Ended up modifying the original print profile. They were doing .08mm layers instead of .2mm layers and the issue went away. Print quality is still fine with good detail. Also prints much faster.
