Was fine, Now idk what its doing, zits blobs after firmware update

I was able to get my computer working.

I completly uninstalled bambu studio and removed data.

I then did a fresh reinstall of Ver 2.6.0.51(it was mentioned to work in the post earlier)

I have printed mutiple object that where causing problems before and are not now.

I have not tried any newer version yet as I need my printers working well and dont have time to test.

I have the same issue on my X1C and H2D since the last update

Well, I thought this was fixed but it just resurfaced today. I don’t understand

TLDR: removing one line from some configs in a couple of places to fix the issue or print without time-lapse mode seams to fix issue.

I think I finally figured out the issue at least for my X1C(and likely the H2D). After many upgrades and downgrades of the studio versions I noticed a line in the configs that was not there before.

both the configs in the Bambu studio install directory “C:\Program Files\Bambu Studio\resources\profiles\BBL\machine” and the “AppData\Roaming\BambuStudioBeta\system\BBL\machine” had the line “farthest_point_timelapse”: “1”.

this was not in any of the working version, it also only seams to be in the 0.4 size nozzle files

  • “Bambu Lab X2D 0.4 nozzle.json”
  • “Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 0.4 nozzle.json”

I looked in a couple other printer and nozzle sizes and did not find it.

  1. I did a test print of a file and it had the issues.
  2. I tried printing without time-lapse on and it printed fine.
  3. I then closed all Bambu Studios and deleted the lines from the config files.
  4. did the same test print with time-lapse mode on and it printed fine.

I believe this should fix issue but would love to see if it works for others.

Hi,

Thanks for your investigation.

I can confirm that your suggested change fixed the issue with one of my failing prints.

Hopefully this will not become active again in a future update.

Thanks for your work. Have you submitted a bug report for this?

no I did not submit a bug report

I changed this value to “0”, it also worked.

After checked .json files, only A series are not affected.
